Great pub. Good weekly quiz. Decent food. Bit slow on the bar service sometimes due to lack of staff but overall still very good.

I've been in a bit of a dilemma this second week of January 2019. Do I maintain my diet for a second week or do I go out to Monkhams and put back on what I've just lost eating I lovely stacked burger and chips, as being a Hungry Horse you will know the portion sizes are massive. I decided my will power was too fragile being so early on in the month so gave in to temptation. Oh, and my dry January went out the window as well. The food here is well cooked and presented, and the staff are always lovely ;-)
