This school traumatised me. I hated every minute of it. The teachers of the time were out of a horror film, Mrs Turner was my all time hated teacher.... so angry and evil. Mrs Dodge was another absaloute nightmare, who once tied a pupil in my class to a chair, removed his shoes and socks & spread drawing pins on the floor around him! I attended this school in the mid 80's. Wow I have some bad memories here. Thank god I left after 3 or so year's of pure hell & went to a really lovely primary school called Avon House where all the teachers were lovely. I'm sure this school has improved vastly from crazy head teacher Mr Wood years, but felt I had to share my feelings.
